Contemporary Bathroom Renovation in Patcham, Brighton.

A stylish, modern bathroom transformation

At Opus Bathrooms, we transformed an existing bathroom in Patcham, Brighton, into a contemporary space combining distinctive design, practical functionality and high-quality finishes.

Large-format concrete-effect porcelain tiles create a clean, modern backdrop, complemented by a bold orange concrete countertop basin, sage-green fluted vanity unit and Flova brassware in a sophisticated gunmetal finish. Decorative patterned tiles and warm LED lighting add texture and character, while the walk-in shower and streamlined fittings maintain a sleek, uncluttered aesthetic.

Overcoming the challenges

This project involved several significant building and plumbing alterations to achieve the new layout. One of the main challenges was relocating the hot water cylinder to another area of the house, freeing up valuable space for the redesigned bathroom.

We also removed sections of wall to accommodate pocket doors, improving access and maximising usable floor space. In addition, we renewed the main plumbing throughout the localised area to accommodate the new bathroom layout and fittings.

By coordinating the structural work, plumbing alterations and installation, we were able to overcome these challenges and deliver a cohesive, high-quality finish.
